The playground gets good!
 
Summer 2011

Our latest project is the redevelopment of the playground.

This has been helped with ideas from staff attending courses on forest schools. We have been using natural materials such as wood, stone etc. and including some lovely willow tee pees.

  
     
 

Marie Curie Tea Party

Summer 2010

Woodpeckers held a "Blooming Great Tea Party" during the summer of 2010 in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

 

All the children and all of the staff had a wonderful time and in the process they raised £100 for the charity.
 

Woodpeckers Toddle For Barnardos

July 2010

Woodpeckers took part in "The Big Toddle" - the UK’s biggest charity event for under 5's, now with an added twist!

 

Ahoy there! This fun short sponsored walk had its first ever theme- pirates! So Woodpeckers jumped aboard!

 

It’s a  great way to bring adults and children together and be part of something really special – a nationwide pirate Toddle extravaganza!

 

Woodpeckers raised £290 for the charity.
